In the beginning there was Jack.. and Jack had a groove.
And then in Kansas City there was THC, a trifecta of Kansas City DJs consisting of Pat Nice, DJ True and Jason Kidd. It would be impossible to draw an accurate time line of the KC’s dance music history with out including these local legends.
Jason Kidd has been on the down low for a few years now, doing as we all do.. settling in with his family and raising his son. KCTDC ran into Jason at one of the Superb! events held monthly at The Union of Westport and we got to talking about old days and where house music has moved to in KC, and of course we had to get some words and a mix for our site.
